So when a client in Scottsdale, Arizona came to us with a bold vision for a custom light fixture inspired by this iconic symbol of the Southwest, we knew we had the opportunity to create something truly extraordinary.

The goal? A large-scale statement piece that would capture the airy intricacy of a tumbleweed while elevating the design of an expansive interior. Think: sculpture meets chandelier. The client initially pursued the custom light fixture fabrication through another lighting manufacturer, but after an unsuccessful attempt, they came to Hammerton. That’s when the project took flight.

Built with roughly 40 unique hand-polished steel tendrils that twist and dance like dried desert brush, the final piece balanced volume and airiness in a way only Hammerton could engineer.
