Located in Beaver Creek, Colo., Hammerton’s Wildridge Residence project combines reassuring warmth with surprising design in a transitional mountain interior by AP Resort Concepts. A combination of both custom and catalog fixtures from Hammerton’s Contemporary and Seriph collections juxtapose warm accents of steel mesh, mica, blown glass and rich patinas with boldly scaled contemporary forms. This dramatic approach to the home’s decorative lighting design beautifully complements the classic exposed beam architecture and cozy furnishings.

Custom contemporary lighting by Hammerton provided the finishing touch for this recently completed 9,000 sq. ft. Beaver Creek home.
The great room features a dramatic custom chandelier that sets the tone for the rest of the home’s interior design. This breathtaking fixture is a powerful counterpoint to the room’s deeply textured fabrics and finishes.
The great room’s custom drum fixture is 60 inches in diameter and incorporates slumped crystal texture glass, fine woven steel mesh, and a Copper Leaf finish.
Above the kitchen island hangs a sleek, dark glass fixture, while three mica pendants with a premium Light Nickel finish light up a rich bar.
The master bedroom study features an elegant Seriph chandelier, while a custom vanity sconce with slumped light glass and a premium Light Nickel finish lights up the master bathroom.
A dramatic custom pendant chandelier in woven steel mesh and an Antique Iron finish coordinates seamlessly with the surrounding stairway railing.
The contemporary fixtures in the kitchen were modified to suit the scale of the surrounding space.
Also used as accent lighting in the hallway is an understated sconce with a light blown glass cylinder and pewter finish.
In the dining room, organic elements combine with contemporary form in an eye-catching fixture. The sleek diffuser showcases a banana leaf weave and premium Light Copper finish suspended beneath a tree-branch-inspired accent.
Accent lighting keeps the home’s warm transitional feel a constant theme. Hammerton’s contemporary indoor sconces sport a dark art glass diffuser, fine mesh accents, and a River Rust finish.
