PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: RICHARD WALKER’S PANCAKE HOUSE

For his new restaurant, Walker worked with the incredible Tahoe-based design teams at Aspen Leaf Interiors and The Lighting Showroom to customize fixtures from Hammerton’s Lightspann collection. Along the center isles and above the tables and booths, Walker and The Lighting Showroom team incorporated our slumped, fused and painted crystal glass fixtures. Tastefully done just like their pancakes (and with a similar shape too!), these fixtures add sophisticated style and a warm glow perfectly suited for dining in comfort.

One of the most iconic breakfast restaurants in both greater Chicago and San Diego just opened a new location in La Jolla! Locals and visitors can now enjoy an award-winning breakfast in a gorgeous environment at Richard Walker’s Pancake House. Not only are they home to the best Baked Apple Pancakes around, but they also happen to have excellent taste in lighting too!

A seamless blend of warm light fixtures and colorful transoms create an inviting atmosphere for diners.
Mirrors were strategically placed behind the pendants in each booth to amplify the effect of these slender, contemporary centerpieces.
Round fixtures and hanging pendants of varying heights elegantly illuminate a beautifully designed space.
Crystal glass fixtures, paired with tapered cylinder pendants and complementary sconces seen in the previous photo, create a dynamic look that’s easy on the eyes.
Custom pendants and sconces feature a warm tone that gracefully highlights the colors and forms of the room’s arched stained glass transom windows. Meanwhile, two rows of round crystal glass fixtures add the perfect amount of volume to the coffered ceiling.
