DRAMATIC RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE IN LAS VEGAS

Decorative sentry pendants help to emphasize the ceiling height of the dramatic entrance gallery while also bringing out the warm tones in the remarkable rock walls.

The aesthetics of Hammerton fixtures never trump function. The ceiling lights for the library were specially designed to allow easy and convenient access to the electrical system of the home.

This ceiling light was designed to echo the entrance hall pendants with its steel mesh diffuser and ecoresin shade with subtle shoji-style pattern.

This chandelier was custom designed to create cohesiveness while playing up the organic and geometric drama of the dining space.

Only authentic materials were used in the design of the dining room chandelier – per the wish of the client. The honey onyx lens panels were custom hewn for the project.

Walnut left over from construction of the pool table was integrated into the light fixture. The lines and curves of the fixture infuse the room with an Eastern flair that is consistently found throughout the entire home.

A 30,000-square-foot residence in Las Vegas presented a project to the award-winning architectural team at Swaback Partners with plenty of room for creativity, innovation, and – of course – drama.

Stepping inside the home, you are immediately met with soaring rock walls and exhilarating floor-to-ceiling windows. Authentic craftsmanship and a peaceful, zen-like aesthetic complete the serene look and feel of the space.

With dramatic scale, however, comes difficult design challenges. The residence needed fixtures that would both unify the open floor plan and complement the unique architecture. Hammerton was happy to take on the challenge.

The Hammerton team custom designed five 13-foot tall sentry pendants to float from the three-story ceilings in the entrance hall. Complementary ceiling lights with Asian-inspired mesh and ecoresin structures were crafted to add interest in more intimate living spaces. For the game room, our designers incorporated steel, mica and distressed walnut in a pool light fixture that reflects the aesthetic of the adjacent shoji-paneled sitting area. A honey onyx-paneled chandelier was custom crafted to create a breathtaking centerpiece and provide a gorgeous glow in the dining room.
